After the Wedding

We made it through the wedding and it was absolutely wonderful! Everything went like clockwork. Carrie was a little stressed in the morning.....and I was a little camera hungry!! She will kill me for posting this picture!

Carrie and Brock were married at 10:00am in the Logan Temple.

This picture is before the ceremony...

The day was perfect for pictures
overcast and just the perfect temperature.

The newlyweds!

Our beautiful and handsome grand kids!

Are they not the cutest things in the world!!!

Kris and Brock Goofing around, they really did not wear the top hats.

It was a great day. If you want to see a few more pic's go to "Liz" on my favorite blogs. That is our daughter and she was the photographer and she did an awesome job.

This is Brock and his twin brother, Brandon.

Wedding Day Tomorrow

Well it is finally here Carrie's wedding is tomorrow!!! We have it all under control (I hope). I hope that it all goes smooth. She seems calm. It will be a long ride to the Logan Temple for her though even though it isn't that far. My granddaughters dresses are done and my grandsons tuxedos fit good. They are going to be cute! Carrie's sister is coming at 6:00am to do her hair. The reality of my baby getting married is sinking in, but I am not losing a daughter, I am gaining another wonderful son-in-law. I have the BEST sons-in-law in the world. I have the worlds most amazing and talented daughters. I am so grateful for the gospel of Jesus Christ in our lives and the choice and chance we are given to have eternal life with Him, and the opportunity we have to be families for all eternity. FAMILIES ARE FOREVER! I love you, my family!

FAMILIES CAN BE TOGETHER FOREVER
I have a family here on earth
they are so good to me
I want to share my life with them
through all eternity
Families can be together forever
through Heavenly Fathers plan
I always want to be with my own family
And the Lord has shown me how I can
The Lord has shown me how I can.
While I am in my early years
I"ll prepare most carefully
So I can marry in God's Temple
for Eternity
Families can be together forever
through Heavenly Fathers plan
I always want to be with my own family
and the Lord has shown me how I can
the Lord has shown me how I can.

Gray's River Vacation

Well we just got back from our trip to Gray's River. It was allot of fun, but it was really dirty and allot of flies this time of year. We left home Wednesday at 5:45am and stopped in Evanston WY for fishing licenses and breakfast. We arrived there just in time for lunch after 35 miles on a dirt road, and then we set up camp. As you can tell it was very secluded. I think everyone caught a fish that had a license. I didn't get a license cuz I just wanted to read and sleep and eat---and I did just that! We had deer right in our camp everyday. The one with the deer and the girls is not a set up it is real. The deer seemed to be posing for the picture...it was so funny.

The wildlife and the wildflowers were amazing..so was the dust and bugs!!

These are some fun pictures we took. There were hummingbirds flying around us and so
Kris "McGuiver" Wallace spent several hours making a hummingbird feeder out of a plastic ball and a red plastic cup. I didn't think it would work but the hummingbirds loved it. They actually chased the trailer as Kris was pulling out of camp.
We were gone for five days and I am so excited to be able to sleep in my own bed tonight!!

Our Grandkids

Time getting close

It is only three weeks until the wedding!!!! We have everything almost paid for except the cake. The invitations are here and we will get them mailed off next wednesday. Carrie and Brock are looking for a house, so we will see how that goes. In the mean time they will be staying with us to save a little more money and not having to move again in a few months when the house deal goes through. We are going camping on the 26th and I can't wait, I need to get some peace and quiet. My phone rings alot with my church calling. We are going to Wyoming, a place called Gray's River and the fishing is great! No cell phone service, even though mine is out of commision right now, no TRAFFIC!!! I am going to sleep and read and play with the grandkids. I may even fish a little. My granddaughters are going to help me grocery shop, so I am sure there will be plenty of junk food too.

Welcome to our blog.......
We are in the middle of a crazy time right now. Our youngest daughter is getting married 08-08-08. The final process of the wedding is underway, and the most painful part THE PAYING FOR EVERYTHING!!!!!! It is a fun time though. We are leaving on a short vacation July 26th so I want everything taken care of before we go. I am new to this blog thing and still learning how it all works, so if this page looks a little off, that's why.
